Since the launch of Panda Voices in Jan 2021, countless panda lovers around the world joined the initiative. To date, we have 57,000 supporters on Change.org; 356 members in our FB Group.
Thanks everyone's consistant effort in raising awareness and gathering info, YaYa and LeLe was recently featured in IDA(In Defense of Animals) Action Alert. IDA has reviewed all the documents we have provided and agreed that Yaya and Lele are indeed in danger at Memphis Zoo.
Although Memphis Zoo is still denying mistreatment, we are confident that as more animal rescue group join and wider awareness is raised, we can pressure Memphis Zoo to make a change and pressure the China counterpart to take YaYa and LeLe back to China.
